January Meeting on Tuesday 9th

Hello Chefs!

 

January meeting is on!  Come out and lets get together before the February Break.  We are meeting this Tuesday, January 9th at Bronxville Field Club.

 

6:00 PM Arrival

7:00 PM Meeting

7:30 PM Educational Dinner-a little different format so we don't extend the night to late

 

Dartagnan will be speaking while we try their Flight of Beef( grass fed, Pastured Angus, Domestic Wagyu, Japanese Wagyu) also Green circle chicken, Salt Meadow lamb, Buffalo, Foie Gras, Exotic Mushrooms. Melissa from Landmark Wines will be pouring and boring everyone with her education on some amazing wine also!

Announcements:

 

I included a picture from this month Westchester Magazine.  Executive Chef John Krall of Manursing Island and POTS charity made it into publication!  Great picture and one of best charity's we are involved in!

 

 

 

Ace Endico is having their Country Club Food Show February 27 at the headquarters in Brewster, NY.  They are having a demonstration on the The Bambino portable Pizza oven, (a great club item) Peter deJong from Forza Forno  will be here that day doing demos on this oven during the show, many different applications as you will see in the video, https://youtu.be/BXOroqeg4z8.  

 

They would also like to provide a serve safe class that day also, all pending on how many chefs are in need of re-certification.  Fabio Montoya is the instructor for the  Serve Safe class , the class would run from 9am -1pm for a  minimum of 5 people.  I took my class with him in the beginning of the year and he is the perfect fit for the seasoned chef.  If any one is interested in hearing more please let us know. 

 

I am also including the trip information for every to see what we will be doing in the upcoming trip to Spain.
