CCW Summer Updates


Hi Chefs,

I hope everyone is getting into their summer pace and rockin' out. We had some hot and sticky days that I am glad are over for the time being.

I wanted to make this a separate email then the trips email to make sure you don't get confused with all the dates! I have had a good response to the trip with 16 people confirmed! There is still room for the chefs who responded "maybe." I hope you can all make it; looks like it is going to be a amazing time. Please make sure you send in your deposits.

We are fast approaching our summer dinner on Tuesday, July 11 at 6:30 PM. We are going to O Mandarin in Hartsdale, NY. Located next to H-mart and centrally located in Westchester and easy for everyone to commute. As I have said before, this is not your usual Chinese take out place. This is an upscale and super authentic Mandarin Cuisine. He has put over a million dollars into the decor alone with antique furnishing that will make you think you're in China. They are going to put on a show of there best dishes from sweet and sticky stuffed lotus root and Mandarin style appetizers, Peking Duck with all the accouterments, whole fish and Dungeness crab for the whole table. Of course, only the best wines will accompany the dinner!

The price for the night out is going to be $60 a person and includes everything. A super deal for us. Please bring your significant other or a guest. I hope you can all make it. This dinner will not disappoint! Please RSVP to me. I will of course have a reminder out the week before.

Chefs I am also attaching the dues form. We have had only a few trickle in. Please take the time and fill it out and mail in the check.
