October 2015 Newsletter

Hello Everybody,

We had a great meeting at Orienta Beach Club, hosted by Jan Hoffmann and his GM Mark Sheehan. The food was fantastic and the beer was pretty good too!! We had an interesting education segment on German and Austrian wines which was very informative. The meeting was very well attended which was great to see but we still need more members showing up to our events.

This is just a quick update on a few upcoming events.

Wednesday October 21 is our Annual Fundraiser for Jansen Hospice at Bronxville Field Club.

Tuesday October 27 is our Halloween Party at Knollwood Country Club. Please sign up for this great event by emailing lisa@metcma.org.

Our November Meeting will be held at Manursing Island Club on Wednesday November 18th please contact John Krall at john@manursing.com to make a reservation.

The 4th Annual POTS- Dine Around event taking place this year on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, please contact John Krall if you wish to participate in any way or if you wish to make a donation to the raffle or auction.

Our 2016 Trip to Germany is already fully booked and we have Four people on a waitlist. The trip sold out faster than any of our previous trips and we haven’t even finished the itinerary yet! If you didn’t get on the list, I’m sorry but better luck next time.
