September 2015 Newsletter

Hello Fellow Chefs,

As we approach the end of September I would like to remind you about our upcoming golf outing which will be held at Bedford Golf and Tennis Club on October 6th.

Many thanks to Chef Glenn Cinguina for hosting us this year.

Breakfast is at 9am and we will have a shotgun start at 11am. If you haven’t already signed up, please contact Lenny Phillips at and get on the tee sheet!!

If you wish to sponsor a hole please let me know no later than Thursday October 1st. The cost is $100 which goes directly to the fund. We are hoping to raise over$20,000 at the vent so please help us reach that goal.

We had a terrific meeting and dinner at Beach Point Club and I would like to thank Chef Max and his great staff, GM Randy Ruder and all the front of house staff for hosting a great evening.

Brett Portier provided great education at The Smokehouse and we also had representatives from Farms2Tables talking about their new app which links us with local farmers and other producers in our area.

We had a good update on our 2016 Education Trip. We are headed to Germany this January and it looks like it will be a very enjoyable trip. Mike Dolan, Jan Hoffman and John Krall are all working on the details. We will probably have a limit of 16 members attending so if you want to be part of the trip please let us know as soon as possible. Remember you must be a full paid member in order to attend.
