January 2015 Newsletter

Hello Fellow Club Chefs,

I hope everybody had a great Christmas and New Year.

We just returned from our annual Education Trip which this year as I’m sure you know took us to England and Ireland.

We had a terrific time on the trip, the food was absolutely outstanding all the way from day one in Home Farm café on Dartmoor National Park to Thornton’s restaurant in Dublin on our final night.

Our cooking classes and education forums were some of the best we have done on any trip and I’m sure the food we do at the Vendor Show in March will be a testament to all we saw and learned on the trip. I will be posting photos of our trip shortly for everybody to see and I’m sure at our next meeting many stories will be relived and even possibly denied by some involved!!!

We are planning a trip to the CIA Hyde Park for mid to late February. It will be a demonstration class followed by dinner at one of the restaurants on campus. More details to follow.
