December 2013 Newsletter

Dear Fellow Club Chefs,

I would like to thank Executive Chef Austin Braswell and his entire staff at Millbrook Country Club for hosting our November meeting. The food, the ambiance and the service were outstanding. Congratulations and thank you for an evening to remember!

I have been informed by Lisa Fisk, Managing Director for MCMA that due to a less than expected response to our annual MCMA/CCW Holiday party this years event at Rockville Links on December 9, 2013 has been cancelled. We hope for a better response next year.

Our next meeting will be on December 18, 2013 5:30 pm please note this is a Wednesday at Mill River Club hosted by Executive Chef Fay Reyes. Please RSVP to me chefpsh@yahoo.com or Chef Fay at 516 922-3556 ASAP.

Since our annual Holiday party was cancelled, in an effort to still support POTS I am asking each Chef attending the meeting to please bring an unwrapped gift so that we can still be part of the solution during the holiday season.

We will also be finalizing our educational trip for 2014 and will have more information at the meeting.
