September 2013 Newsletter

Dear Fellow Club Chefs,

I would like to thank Executive Chef Park and General Manager Hussein Ali for hosting our

September meeting. As you know this was a special meeting as it was a surprise retirement

party for Chef Jose Santiago. As most of you know Jose was one of our founding members and

we wish him and his family all the best in there retirement.

Our October Wine Tour has been rescheduled for October 8, 2013. We will have three pick up

points the first being at Metropolis Country Club at 8am at 289 Dobbs Ferry Road,White Plains NY.

We will than be making a stop in Nassau at North Hills Country Club at approximately 9:15 am

followed by a stop in Suffolk County at exit 53 Park and Ride around 9:45 am. This is an all

day event please see the attached PDF for further information. Please RSVP to me

Chefpsh@yahoo.com as this trip is limited to the first 45 participants.

On a great note the Dan Campagna Charity event at Piping Rock Club hosted by Executive Chef

Blake Verity was a huge success and raised almost $45,000 for the Campagna family,

thank all of you for supporting this very special event.

We will be discussing locations for our January Culinary Trip at our next meeting we have

a couple of different Itinerary’s and we will need to vote on what destination we will be visiting

in January 2014.
