Dear Fellow Club Chefs,

I hope everyone had a successful holiday weekend and the chance to spend a little time

with friends and family.

Our June Chef Dinner at South End hosted by Chef Nick Martschenko was absolutely

amazing, it was not only a home run but a GRAND SLAM all in attendance would agree.

Our annual Chris Gasse Foundation Golf Outing will be held at More Far Golf Club

233 Federal Hill Rd. Brewster, NY 10509 Phone Number 845 279-5086 The event is

hosted by General Manager Victor Boyd and Executive Chef Andrew Howgego on

Tuesday August 13, please note the date change. The cost of the event is $175.00 per

golfer, $700.00 per foursome BBQ only is $75.00. As many of you already know Chris

left behind a young family and all proceeds from this event will be donated to the

Chris Gasse Family Foundation. Please arrange your foursomes ASAP as this event has

a tendency to sell out quickly. I ask every member to try and support this very worth while

event. We are in need of Raffle Prizes, Rounds of Golf at your Club, Golf Clubs, Putters,

Golf Bags, Tennis Racquets, wine, Golf or Tennis Lessons. Lenny Phillips is the event

Chairman and he will be reaching out to you and to vendors for donations for this event.

Also on another sad note Dan Campagna, Blake Verity’s long time Sous Chef passed

away this Spring. Dan also left a very young Wife and Family. Executive Chef Blake Verity

and The Piping Rock Club are hosting a Memorial Golf Outing on Monday September 9,

2013 the cost of the event is $150.00 per Golfer, $600.00 per foursome $75.00 for

Dinner reception only please see attached PDF for both of Our Charity events.
