Club Chefs
of westchester
For more than 20 years, The Club Chefs of Westchester has helped define culinary experiences in private clubs throughout the greater metropolitan New York area.
With monthly meetings, our members enjoy educational seminars, product and technique demonstrations, and lively discussions about current trends and issues facing the Club Chef on a daily basis. All of this and some exceptionally prepared food by fellow member chefs.
Members also enjoy day-long culinary trips and field trips to local dairies, farms, smokehouses, wineries, and more. The highlight for many is our annual culinary trip, which has included France, Portugal, Spain, Bologna, Naples, Peru, Ireland, England and, not to mention, California and the Pacific Northwest.
As members of Club Chefs of Westchester, we are in a great position to give back to our local communities. We raise funds for several worthwhile organizations, including POTS and Jansen Hospice. We host our Annual Golf Outing, which is in honor of our friend and fellow chef Christopher Gasse, and donate all proceeds to the Chris Gasse Family Education Fund. We also participate in the Annual CMAA Vendor Show, as well as our Annual Holiday Party and the Chef/Spouse Dinner in June.
Aside from dealing with Chef related issues, we also have numerous events in conjunction with Club Managers from the local chapter of CMAA. We work closely with the CMAA to provide better opportunities for growth among chefs and their managers.
We have accomplished a lot over our first twenty plus years and we look to continue to grow, learn and contribute to our industry in the future. We are always looking for new members and fresh ideas and energy to help drive us forward to a greater and brighter future in the Club Industry.
