Dear Club Chefs
On the evening
of June 6th, we had the wonderful opportunity to get together with
our collegues and their partners. We were graciously hosted at the
Sterling Inn in New Rochelle, New York by the Chef Owner Sterling
Smith, and his staff. There, we had the pleasure to enjoy a very
well executed tasting menu. From the hors d'œuvres to the dessert,
Sterling and his staff kept on satisfying our taste buds. Unfortunately
again, so many of the club members couldn’t make it due to
their busy schedule
Our annual picnic
will be on the 21st of August at the Shenorock Shore Club. Nick
the balloonatic will be performing for the children. Please Call
Chef Lenny Phillips at (914) 967-6722 as soon as possible and inform
him of how you can be of assistance with the food.
Since the Sterling
Inn was such a great success, we will be crowning the summer with
another dinner on the 29th of August at Café Mezé
in Hartsdale, N.Y. The cost is $85.00 per person. Please call me
by August 15th at the Scarsdale Golf Club, Inc.(914)723-2840 to
reserve.
The annual golf outing will be at Morefar on September 11th.The
cost is $ 160 per person. More information will follow.
Our next
meeting will be at Quaker Ridge Golf Club on September
12th at 6:00pm. Out of courtesy, please remember to call Chef Wayne
Kregling at (914)725-1100 to reserve.
Also, remember out of respect for the chefs and the clubs that host
our meetings to either turn your cell phone off or put it on vibrate.
