Dear Club Chef,
Big Thanks to
the Shenorock Shore Club General Manager Richard La Coursiere, the
Catering Manager John French and the Executive chef Leonard Phillips
for graciously hosting our March meeting. Lenny spoiled us with
a wonderful spread paired with wines from Peerless imports represented
by Tony Spadaro and Kobrand represented by Brian Ravitsky.
During the meeting,
we discussed the formation of two sub-committees. An education committee
with Steve Lustig, Mike Dolan and Tony Nunes. A grievance and Admission
Committee with Victor Flores, Jose Santigo and Snooze.
The time is
here again for the annual Westchester vendor show which will take
place on tuesday March 28, 2006. We have been asked to prepare the
food for the evening Cocktail party. The theme is Louisiana style
cooking. We still need volunteers!!! Victor Boyd has thankfully,
once again come forth to assist us in organizing the stations. Please
advise me on how you wish to help and what you will prepare at (914)723-2840
ext230.so I can inform him.
The ACF is sponsoring
a Culinary Competition that will apply towards anyone interested
in Chef Certification. The date is April 5th.If you need more information,
you may contact Mike Murray From the Bronxville Field Club At (914)664-3585.
Chef Haik Hounanian
will host our Sanitation course which is scheduled for April----
at Bedford Golf and Tennis Club. The cost of the course is $220
per person. Please make your payments before attending. Contact
me if you intend to attend at (914)723-2840 ext 230.
The next meeting
will take place at the Bronxville Field Club on TuesdaY April 11.
The cocktail hour will start at 6 pm.
